How do I set up, test and troubleshoot my phone calls?

Saving your practice or finishing a tour does not activate calls. Go live shows the remaining readiness requirements and explicit activation controls.

Before you start

Owner or admin; some requirements need a Louneh operator. Availability depends on your plan and completed setup. Review subscription access.

Step by step

  1. Open Go live and read each outstanding item.
  2. Complete the practice, subscription or pilot-access, provider and agreement requirements shown.
  3. Review the greeting, disclosure and phone routing instructions.
  4. Publish a test receptionist and connect a dedicated number. Keep your normal practice line unchanged. Use the guided phone test in Go live to rehearse the greeting, appointment request, message and staff handoff with fictional information.
  5. From a separate phone, call the test number during a verified test window. Note the time and time zone. Refresh Calls and inspect the matching call outcome; test profiles may limit transcripts and saved records.
  6. Arrange a forwarding rehearsal with your carrier and Louneh operator. Test your practice entry line when answered, busy and unanswered. Confirm how to restore original routing; Louneh settings do not configure carrier forwarding.
  7. Use the explicit activation action only when ready, then verify an authorized test call.
  8. Review Calls, Messages and Appointments during the day. Calls is a snapshot, not an automatic outage monitor. For failed tests, use the symptom guide in Go live or Calls, then Help & support.

What you should see

The actual status and a test call establish whether the receptionist is live.

If something goes wrong

If patient calls are affected, ask your carrier to restore original routing and use Pause live calls if permitted. Pause does not remove carrier forwarding or end calls already in progress. For missing calls, refresh and clear filters; do not purchase another number. Give support the time, time zone, failed step and error code without patient information.
